I've always used a Hal Higdon training schedule, but I have to change around some of the days depending on my work schedule. So far, I've stuck to everything. I am hoping the 5 miler goes ok today!
In addition to that, I've been lifting weights and doing some core work at the gym, but I admit that I am never good at sticking to a good lifting plan!
I plan on doing a lot of yoga this weekend because I have a workshop and a yoga study tech session. I will probably drop into at least one other class this weekend before or after my yoga study!

I'm so impressed that you have the motivation to train for a half even if you aren't sure if you'll sign up for one!! I would love to log more miles right now but I will have to learn to run in the freezing cold because the weather just won't improve around here!! And I miss taking my yoga class every time I read your blog!!! What a fabulous career to be entering into! Keep up the great work girlfriend!!! See ya next Friday :)
ReplyDeleteAww thanks! I totally understand about the weather, I hate running in the cold! We always have to join a gym in the winter time otherwise I wouldn't do a thing! I hope you are able to get back to your yoga class soon or practice more at home, even just 10 minutes can feel amazing!
DeleteYou're awesome! One year out from major hip surgery and half marathon training?! Incredible.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kodi! I just checked out your blog (I LOVE the design!!) and I am going to answer all your questions you posted on Friday! I used to hate running too!
